DIA is a design, research and innovation studio based in the French Alps, originally founded in 2009 in SoHo, New York. We build kinetic identity systems, typographic systems, and generative tools designed for teams to easily implement and evolve beyond our involvement.

Meg Donohoe — Co-Founder and Managing Director
With a background in art history and film, Meg brings two decades of experience in creative direction and production across design, motion graphics, film, and commercials. She leads the studio's business operations, client relationships, and production. 

Mitch Paone — Co-Founder and Creative Director
Mitch leads design and research at DIA. The studio's methodology draws directly from his jazz training as a pianist and composer, with an appearance at the 2008 Winter Jazz Festival in New York. He teaches regularly at European institutions including ECAL, ZHdK, HEAD Genève, and KABK, and lectures internationally.
